Twice is Nice
Nestled in the leafy western shires of Brisbane, this fully renovated 1960’s chamferboard required some small additions. The family had outgrown their existing one bathroom setup and opted to extend forwards to create a luxurious master suite.
Project description
In keeping with The Outside Perspectives primary objectives of sustainable design, as much of the original chamfer board was preserved and reused in the extension as well as the original three-pain timber window.
The clients were particular in keeping with the suburbs timber and tin appeal and were adamant the extension would seamlessly disappear into the original house. Internal sight lines were preserved and with the reapplication of the large original glazing, light floods the ensuite and master bedroom.
A modern muted colour palette coupled with splashes of victorian ash timber and marble have come together to create a large, airy and luxurious master ensuite.
